Welcome! I’m Stephen Mander, a research scientist specializing in machine learning, computer vision, and computational optimization. My work spans from theoretical advances in contrastive learning to practical applications in adversarial robustness and high-performance computing.

About Me

I’m passionate about advancing the frontiers of machine learning through innovative research and practical applications. My expertise includes multi-dimensional contrastive learning, adversarial machine learning, high-performance computing frameworks, and computational physics.

Outside of research, I’m actively involved in my community as a church drummer, serve as Group Bailiff for the Historia Normannis living history group, and enjoy the challenge of underwater hockey. These diverse interests have shaped my leadership skills and collaborative approach to both research and life.
